Benefits and Use Cases
Using the core sample trowel improves hand safety and core sample recovery when attempting to remove core samples particularly after drilling through sticky clays or formations prone to swelling. Currently there is no tool like this available and most geologists and driller offsiders are using screwdrivers or similar tools to remove core samples. This is potentially very dangerous and isn't uncommon for accidents and injuries to occur from this. The core sample trowel keeps the sample more intact as you can smoothly scoop it out in one or multiple segments depending on the equipment used to retrieve the sample.
