Benefits and Use Cases
Using the core sample trowel improves hand safety when attempting to remove core samples particularly after drilling through sticky clays or formations prone to swelling. Currently there is no tool like this available and most geologists and driller offsiders are using screwdrivers or similar tools to remove core samples. This is potentially very dangerous and isn't uncommon for accidents and injuries to occur from this. The core sample trowel also improves core sample recovery and integrity by allowing the user to scoop out the sample in one piece.
